Rockets still receiving poor offers for Russell Westbrook

USA Today Sports

The Houston Rockets have yet to see any suitable offers in a package to receive Russell Westbrook.

ESPN has reported that Westbrook will unlikely be moved before the start of training camp.

Packaging a deal for a 32-year-old in Westbrook who’s still owed over $132 million over the next three seasons is tough.

It’s an unattractive bargain to a team for a point guard that’s had multiple knee surgeries and is owed so much left on his contract.

The only two teams that have shown interest in Westbrook so far have been the Hornets and Knicks, but each club doesn’t have much to offer.
