The Minnesota Timberwolves signed guard Malik Beasley to a 4-year, $60 million contract.
Beasley would have been a restricted free agent, but the Timberwolves weren’t going to allow that for much time before making a move.
In the stretch of a cut off season, Beasley averaged 20.7 points on 47.2% shooting with 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
It’s a nice deal for both sides, as Beasley should flourish alongside D’Angelo Russell and Karl Anthony-Towns.
