The NBA is considering adding a second jersey sponsorship patch for the upcoming 2021 season.
The league asked it’s teams to submit new revenue generating ideas to offset financial losses due to the pandemic, and this rose from an organization.
“These new opportunities showcase the willingness we have as a league and teams to continue to find innovative ways to drive value for our partners and fans,†stated Cleveland Cavaliers President Nic Barlage.
The NBA first launched jersey sponsorship patches in the 2017-18 season.
