The Seattle Seahawks have acquired defensive end Carlos Dunlap from the Bengals for draft pick compensation.
Dunlap was benched in Week 5 and reportedly been unhappy with the team.
Going to a team that may contend for the Super Bowl can only help Dunlap’s mood.
Seattle will take the rest of Dunlap’s remaining $7.8 million salary, and he’s owed a non-guaranteed $11.25 million in 2021.
Getting rid of Dunlap leaves a total dead cap hit of $8.43 million for Cincinnati over the next two seasons.
