The Seattle Mariners have declined infielder/outfielder Dee Strange-Gordon’s $14 million option for 2021.
Gordon struggled mightily at the dish last season, hitting 200/.268/.213 with zero home runs, zero triples, one double, and three stolen bases in 33 games.
Although he had a down year, a change of scenery may bode well for Gordon.
He’s still got talent and is speedy, so he should get a few offers from suitable teams.
