Malik Beasley has turned down a 3-year, $30 million contract extension from the Nuggets.
The move by Beasley was made before he recently switched agencies to Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.
However, Denver still has matching rights next summer if another team offers him a deal if they don’t extend him by the October 21 deadline.
The 22-year-old showed his capabilities on both sides of the floor last season, but with a healthy Gary Harris and Jamal Murray, Beasley might not get as many opportunities.
