Simona Halep and Novak Djokovic have won the women’s and men’s 2019 Wimbledon Championships.
Halep defeated Serena Williams in straight sets to earn her victory, while Djokovic beat Roger Federer for his 5th Wimbledon Title in the longest final in history.
This victory marks Djokovic’s 16th Grand Slam Title.
The 2019 Wimbledon had its most lucrative earnings in history with an overall purse of $49.4 million.
Both Halep and Djokovic will take home $2,983,748 for winning the championships.
