The Minnesota Twins have signed 26-year-old outfielder Max Kepler to a 5-year, $35,000,000 contract extension.
The new deal includes a club option for 2024.
Kepler batted .224/.319/.408 for the Twins last season, but the contract numbers suggest that he took a step forward and the ball club is betting on his long-term success.
In his first four seasons with the Twins, Kepler earned $2,478,551Â in contracts.
