The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired 6x All-Star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Diamondbacks will receive catcher Carson Kelly, starting pitcher Luke Weaver, infielder Andy Young, and the club’s Compensation Round B selection in the 2019 Draft.

Goldschmidt, age 31, is a two-time MVP runner-up who’s averaged 31 homers and 105 RBIs per 162 games throughout his career.
