Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Christian Yelich has been named 2018 National League MVP.
Yelich almost unanimously took all the first place votes by the Baseball Writers Association of America shown below:
Yelich had a strong finish to the season, where from September 1 – October 1, he was dominant. Yelich  had a slash line of .370/.508/.804 along with 10 homers, 34 RBI, and 24 walks. Milwaukee went 20-7 during that span and rallied from a 3.5 game deficit to snag the division title from the Chicago Cubs.
Yelich won the NL batting title (.326) and led the league in OPS (1.000), OPS+ (164) and total bases (343).
The 26-year-old earned a base salary of $7,000,000 in 2018.
