Phoenix Suns 21-year-old star Devin Booker will suit up and play in the Suns’ opening night on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
It was previously unknown if Booker would be available for the first few games after he underwent right hand surgery to repair the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint.
Booker inked a 5-year, $158 million maximum contract extension with Phoenix in July.
This is wonderful news for both Phoenix and fantasy basketball owners, as Boker will look to improve his statistics as he’s done for each of his previous three seasons listed below:
- 2015: 13.8 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 2.6 APG
- 2016: 22.1 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 3.4 APG
- 2017: 24.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.7 APG
