The Arizona Cardinals have signed 26-year-old running back David Johnson to a 3-year, $39 million extension through 2021.

The deal included $30 million guaranteed and has an average annual salary of $13 million.

RotoWorld Football stated that “It’s a player-friendly deal for Johnson coming off a lost 2017. One of the league’s top all-purpose playmakers.”
