NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has signed a 5-year extension through 2023/24 according to a press release from the NBA.

The NBA has seen much growth under Silver, partly because of agreeing to a record-breaking TV contract in his first year as commissioner. The salary cap came in at approximately $58.7 million at his hiring and is set to surpass the $100 million mark for the first time ever for the 2018/19 season.
