The Minnesota Twins placed Tyler Mahle on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation.

Mahle recently returned from the injured list on Saturday, but he had to be pulled after two innings with lingering shoulder problems.

As of now, there’s no set timetable to return for the 27-year-old right hander who’s been battling shoulder injuries over the last few months.

In Mahle’s absense, pitcher Jovani Moran was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul to take his place on the active roster.
