The Atlanta Braves activated relief pitcher Kenley Jansen from the 15-day injured list Wednesday.
Jansen has been sidelined for a couple of weeks with an unfortunate heart condition that he’s been dealing with throughout his career.
However, the 34-year-old will return to the bullpen today as the Braves take on the division rival Mets who hold a 1.5 game lead for first place in the NL East.
Jansen has totaled 20 saves on the 2022 season with a 3.58 ERA and 47/8 K/BB ratio through 32 2/3 innings pitched.
