Charlotte Hornets small forward Gordon Hayward has been ruled out of the play-in tournament with left foot discomfort.
Hayward has played in just one game since the trade deadline, and today will mark his fourth straight missed game.
The 32-year-old has unfortunately battled injuries over the last five seasons split between the Celtics and Hornets.
Hayward averaged 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists across 49 games played in 2021-22.
He’ll be placed in a cast and re-evaluated in two weeks.
