P.J. Tucker has been ruled out of the Miami Heat’s final two games against the Hawks and Magic.
A recent MRI showed a calf strain for the 36-year-old veteran, and he’ll be re-evaluated in one week.
The Heat are currently the number one overall seed in the Eastern Conference, so Tucker sitting out for a bit makes sense for the team hoping to make a deep playoff push.
Rookie big man Omer Yurtseven could see some action with Tucker sidelined the next couple games.
