Newly acquired point guard Dennis Schroder will likely remain with the Houston Rockets for the remainder of the season according to Marc Stein.
Neither Schroder or Houston seem to want to buyout the veteran point guard, which is a fair move on both sides.
Schroder’s played in three games so far Rockets, averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists in 29.0 minutes per game.
The 28-year-old signed a one-year, $5,890,000 contract in Boston before being traded to the Rockets with Enes Freedom and Bruno Fernando for Daniel Theis.
Schroder will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the regular season, and he should see some lucrative offers in the 2022 offseason.
