The Denver Nuggets are intending to sign shooting guard Austin Rivers to a contract for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Rivers has been decent since joining Denver, averaging 5.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in his five games played with the team.
The 28-year-old began the season with the New York Knicks, but he was waived after getting traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Rivers gives the Nuggets some needed depth at both guard slots with Jamal Murray being sidelined for the rest of the season.
