Braves pitcher Max Fried will not make his scheduled start on Friday after a potential exposure to someone who had the coronavirus.
Fried tested negative for covid, but team is playing it safe and will keep him away from the team for a few days.
His start for the regular season shouldn’t be in doubt in the beginning of April.
The 27-year-old had a 2.25 ERA, 1.089 WHIP, and 50/19 K/BB ratio over 56 innings in 2020.
Fried should be taken as one of the top pitchers for standard fantasy leagues for 2021.
