Philip Rivers retires after 17 seasons

Former Colts and Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has retired from the NFL after 17 seasons.

Rivers, now 39-years-old, spent his first 16 seasons with the San Diego and LA Chargers before playing for the Colts for his final season.

Rivers threw for a career total 63,440 passing yards for 421 touchdowns and 209 interceptions.

He’s posted a good 95.2 career average rating as well.

Rivers has made $243,917,656 in NFL contracts through his career, mainly with CAA Sports Agency.

According to Rotoworld, Rivers will become the head coach at St. Michael Catholic High School in Alabama.
