The Houston Astros signed starting pitcher Lance McCullers to a one-year, $6.5 million contract to avoid arbitration.

Decent deal for the 27-year-old who posted a 3.93 ERA in 11 starts in 2020 for Houston.

He also threw 56 strikeouts with a 1.164 WHIP.

McCullers should have another decent fantasy year for those who draft him, and he’s always a good selection for his strikeout rate for daily fantasy.
