Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving is out for Thursday night’s matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers due to personal reasons.
The Nets will be short-handed facing the Sixers without Irving, Kevin Durant, and Spencer Dinwiddie.
It could turn into a rough night for Brooklyn facing the Sixers that currently have the best record in the league at 7-1.
Brooklyn will look for Joe Harris and Caris LeVert to step up and play well in Irving’s absence.
Irving is off to a tear to start the 2020-21 season, averaging 27.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.
