The Indianapolis Colts have reached an agreement with 38-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers.
The deal is for one-year, and $25 million.
The move essentially pushes Jacoby Brisset out the door, who started off hot last season but cooled off down the stretch.
The Colts lost the last 7 of their 9 games last season.
Rivers went to the Pro-Bowl eight times with the Chargers, and threw for a franchise best 59,271 yards and 397 touchdown passes.
