The Philadelphia Phillies have signed starting pitcher Aaron Nola to a 4-year, $45 million contract extension.
The deal will also carry a $16 million club option for a 5th year.
The 25-year-old right-hander flourished in Philly last season with a 17-6 record, 2.37 ERA, 0.975 WHIP, and 224/58 K/BB ratio in 212 1/3 innings.
