The Seattle Seahawks have signed quarterback Paxton Lynch to a reserve/future contract.
The 2016 first-round pick didn’t struggle for workouts in 2018, but spent the year out of the league after being waived by the Broncos. I
t’s a nothing-to-lose flier for a Seahawks squad that has routinely had one of the league’s worst backup QB situations.
Thankfully for them, Russell Wilson has literally never missed a game.
Lynch seems unlikely to earn No. 2 duties in training camp, as he just isn’t polished enough to be an NFL quarterback.
