The Chicago White Sox have signed RHP Kelvin Herrera to a two-year, $18 million contract with a vesting option for 2021.
The deal was agreed to on Monday and then finalized Tuesday after Herrera passed his physical. T
he 29-year-old right-hander will probably open the 2019 season in a setup role for the White Sox, and he could be worth a late round fantasy pick this spring.
