Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee has exercised his $4.2 million player option for 2020-21.

McGee will remain a Laker for the upcoming season and likely be the starting center for the team.

Although he started nearly all of last season, McGee averaged a tiny 6.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game.
