Mavs, Sixers swap Seth Curry for Josh Richardson

USA Today Sports

The Dallas Mavericks have traded Seth Curry to the Philadelphia 76ers for Josh Richardson and the number 36 overall draft pick.

The Sixers are making moves over the last 24 hours with this deal and shipping Al Horford to OKC.

This is a win-win for both teams since the Sixers needed scoring off the bench and a shooter, and Dallas needed a wing defender to play alongside Luka Doncic.

Curry signed a four-year, $32 million contract with the Mavericks last offseason.

Richardson has two years and over $21 million left on his current contract with a player option for 2021.
