Bucks acquire Jrue Holiday from New Orleans

USA Today Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired point guard Jrue Holiday from New Orleans for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, three future first round picks, and two pick swaps.

Looks like the Bucks front office is starting to give Giannis Antetokounmpo what he needs to retain him at the end of next season.

Holiday is a top-tier level guard that averaged 19.1 PTS, 4.8 REB, and 6.7 AST last season, and he’s no slouch on the defensive end.

Holiday will be eligible for free agency after this season, but he may sign a long-term deal with Milwaukee if they want him as a core player next to Giannis.
