Raiders fined $500K and stripped of 6th-rounder

USA Today Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders have been fined $500,000 and stripped of their sixth-round draft pick for violating coronavirus protocols.

The Raiders had “protocol violations related to offensive tackle Trent Brown’s positive test in late October.”

Head coach Jon Gruden was also fined $150,000.

The Raiders still cannot get things right as they’ve been fined for the third separate occasion.

Their star players were fined for attending a charity event, Jon Gruden and the team were fined for breaking mask protocols, and their offensive line got sent home after Trent Brown tested positive.

The league is trying to keep their COVID crisis under control, especially with winter approaching and the country’s overall coronavirus cases rising.
