Pacers interested in acquiring Gordon Hayward

USA Today Sports

According to Ian Begley of SNY.tv, the Indiana Pacers have interest in trading for Gordon Hayward from the Celtics.

Hayward, who’s expected to excercise his player option for next season for $34.2 million, doesn’t become a free agent until after 2021.

The Pacers have a lot of cash on hand in the contracts of Victor Oladipo, Malcom Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner and it wouldn’t be a surprise if any of the were moved this offseason.

Hayward of course has playing experience in Indiana where he played college ball at Butler.
