The Winnipeg Jets signed defenseman Dylan DeMelo to a four-year, $12 million contract.

DeMelo was rated a top-four defenseman last season, so the value of the deal is worth it.

The 27-year-old had 10 assists in 59 games while averaging 20:09 minutes played with Ottawa and Winnipeg.

DeMelo is now signed through 2023-24.
