The Philadelphia 76ers hired Doc Rivers as their next head coach.

Rivers and the Clippers recently parted ways after a 3-1 series collapse against the Denver Nuggets.

On Wednesday, he met with 76ers management before watching Game 1 of the NBA Finals with them on Thursday.

Rivers will take on plenty of issues that the Sixers have, including the drama between Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

Simmons and Embiid have been butting heads for quite some time now, and they have yet to prove they can mesh together.

Both have issues with Simmons yet to develop a jump shot, and Embiid who’s inconsistent with a baby’s attitude.

It’ll be interesting to see if Rivers can create a working offense for the two, or if he leans towards making a move and dealing one of the two.
