The NFL has fined 15-year veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger $5,000 for wearing an Apple Watch on the sideline.

Roethlisberger wasn’t even playing during the ridiculous incident, which is a mystery by the NFL.

Accoring to Adam Schefter, Roethlisberger was livid about the fine and will appeal it.

He is bothered that he didn’t receive advance warning that he violated the rule, but instead received a letter saying that he’s being fined.

Yahoo Sports reported that the NFL bans all electric devices that transmit messages.

Earlier this week, the NFL also fined Saints linebacker Demario Davis $7,000 for a uniform violation for wearing a headband under his helmet that said “Man of God.”
