Dion Lewis didn’t hold back his feeling after the Tennessee Titans defeated the New England Patriots, his former ball club, 34-10.

“It’s a real sweet win,” Lewis said of Tennessee’s 34-10 triumph over New England, per NFL Network‘s Michael Giardi. “Especially when you used to be there and they didn’t want to bring you back. Definitely real sweet.”

Lewis ran 20 times for 57 yards and caught two receptions for 11 yards in the rout.

“Hell yeah it’s personal,” Lewis said. “That’s what happens when you go cheap. You get your ass kicked.”

Lewis played three seasons with the Patriots from 2015-2017. After the offseason of 2017, Lewis mentioned that New England didn’t want to open their checkbook to keep him around.

In March, Lewis signed a 4-year, $19,800,000 contract with the Titans.
