Philadelphia Eagles (2-3) @ New York Giants (1-3) (Thursday Night)

  • Time/Venue: 8:20 PM, MetLife Stadium
  • Moneyline: PHI -159, NYG +139
  • Spread: PHI -3 (-113), NYG +3 (-107)
  • Over/Under: O 43.5 (-108), U 43.5 (-112)
  • Spread Consensus: 51% PHI -3
  • Over/Under Consensus: 65% O 43.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: PHI 22.6 – NYG 20.6
  • Record Against the Spread: PHI (1-4), NYG (2-3)

Pick – Eagles

Both ball clubs from the NFC East division are on a short week on Thursday night. These matches are always close, but the Eagles beat the Giants twice last season. With virtually the same rosters from both the Eagles and Giants minus a few injuries, the same results should be expected.

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Atlanta Falcons

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (1-4)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Stadium
  • Moneyline: ATL -175, TB +155
  • Spread: ATL -3.5 (+101), TB +3.5 (-121)
  • Over/Under: O 57.5 (-110), U 57.5 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 67% ATL -3.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 60% O 57.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: ATL 30.8 – TB 24.8
  • Record Against the Spread: ATL (1-4), TB (2-2)

Pick – Falcons

Atlanta keeps suffered close losses three of the first four weeks of their season, then got beat up last week in Pittsburgh. It’s time for them to look to turn their season around fast, and a matchup with the 2-2 Bucaneers is what they need. Tampa Bay got blown out 48-10 in week four to Chicago and they looked like a totally different ball club compared to the first three weeks. They could possibly be showing their true colors at the moment. Although it may help the Bucs some that their coming off of a bye week, but it won’t be enough to beat Atlanta at home.

Andy Dalton

Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals (4-1)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium
  • Moneyline: CIN -130, PIT +110
  • Spread: CIN -2.5 (-110), PIT +2.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: O 52.5 (-110), U 52.5 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 54% PIT +2.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 67% O 52.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: CIN 31.4 – PIT 24.2
  • Record Against the Spread: CIN (4-1), PIT (2-3)

Pick – Bengals

This is the biggest toss up of the week in what could be another shootout with two not so great defenses in a divisional matchup. Pittsburgh won both times against Cincinnati last year making this a revenge game. It also can’t be set in stone which Steelers team we’ll see. Home field is another big factor in this pick.

Jarvis Landry

Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) @ Cleveland Browns (2-2-1)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00, FirstEnergy Stadium
  • Moneyline: LAC -120, CLE +100
  • Spread: LAC -1 (-115), CLE +1 (-105)
  • Over/Under: O 44 (-120), U 44 (+100)
  • Spread Consensus: 59% LAC -1
  • Over/Under Consensus: 63% O 44
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score:  CLE 26.4 – LAC 20.7
  • Record Against the Spread: CLE (4-1), LAC (2-3)

Pick – Chargers

The Browns squeezed out a tough victory last week against the Ravens, but it won’t be the same outlook this Sunday. The Chargers have firepower ability with their offense and and wide variety in their playbook, which will be hard for Cleveland’s defense to contain. Cleveland is also 22nd in the league in rushing yards per game, and this sounds like another good day for emerging star RB Melvin Gordon. LA’s ability to stop the run may leave more decision making for rookie QB Baker Mayfield, and he’s still a big shaky at times with the ball.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks (2-3) @ Oakland Raiders (1-4)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, Wembley Stadium
  • Moneyline: SEA -155, OAK +135
  • Spread: SEA -2.5 (-125), OAK +2.5 (+105)
  • Over/Under: O 48 (-110), U 48 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 56% SEA -2.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 53% O 48
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: OAK 27.0 – SEA 21.6
  • Record Against the Spread: OAK (2-3), SEA (2-2-1)

Pick – Seahawks

The Raiders simply do not look good. They’re offense shows up from time to time, but costly situational turnovers kills momentum and leaves players hanging their heads on the sideline. Oakland is tied for 5th worst in giveaways with nine already this season. Their total defense is also ranked 30th, so things couldn’t be going too much worse. Seattle’s defense is very good, and they’ll be able to get their offense going quickly this week.

AP BEARS PACKERS FOOTBALL S FBN USA WI

Chicago Bears (3-1) @ Miami Dolphins (3-2)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium
  • Moneyline: CHI -165, MIA +145
  • Spread: CHI -3 (-117), MIA +3 (-103)
  • Over/Under: O 42 (-105), U 45 (-115)
  • Spread Consensus: 59% CHI -3
  • Over/Under Consensus: 50/50
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: CHI 24.3 – MIA 17.8
  • Record Against the Spread: CHI (3-1), MIA (3-2)

Pick – Bears

Fresh off of a bye week, Chicago travels to Miami to face the Dolphins who’ve lost two straight games. Miami started off 3-0, but their opponents weren’t that impressive. The Bears’ defense is ranked 2nd in the league and they look stellar. The offense was okay the first three weeks, then they looked dominant in week four where Mitchell Trubisky completed 19 passes for 354 yards and 6 touchdowns. Chicago’s heading in the right direction.

Stefon Diggs

Arizona Cardinals (1-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (2-2-1)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, U.S. Bank Stadium
  • Moneyline: MIN -470, ARI +395
  • Spread: MIN -10.5 (+100), ARI +10.5 (-120)
  • Over/Under: O 43 (-110), U 43 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 58% MIN -10.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 61% O 43
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: MIN 31.1 – ARI 11.1
  • Record Against the Spread: MIN (2-2-1), ARI (3-2)

Pick – Vikings

Arizona could be in the argument for the worst team in the league this season. They’re last in the league in total offense, and 24th in total defense. Minnesota is coming off a big win against the defending champions, and that’ll give them a confidence boost going further into the season.

NFL: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

Indianapolis Colts (1-4) @ New York Jets (2-3)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, MetLife Stadium
  • Moneyline: NYJ -140, IND +120
  • Spread: NYJ -2.5 (-112), IND +2.5 (-108)
  • Over/Under: O 45 (-110) U 45 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 52% IND +2.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 56% O 45
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: NYJ 30.8 – IND 15.3
  • Record Against the Spread: NYJ (2-3), IND (2-3)

Pick – Jets

A huge difference in this one is the Jets’ running attack. When they get going, their o-line creates big holes for Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell to run through. The run ability will bode well for Sam Darnold, as this could open up play action against the 28th ranked passing defense.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers (3-1) @ Washington Redskins (2-2)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, FedEX Field
  • Moneyline: WAS -120, CAR +100
  • Spread: WAS -1 (-115), CAR +1 (-105)
  • Over/Under: O 45 (-110), U 45 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 58% CAR +1
  • Over/Under Consensus: 78% O 45
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: WAS 28.4 – CAR 20.5
  • Record Against the Spread: CAR (2-2), WAS (2-2)

Pick – Panthers

This game will come down to Cam Newton vs. Alex Smith. These are two closely matched teams on both sides of the ball, so the difference will come down to play-making ability. Newton has more of this, so this matchup is in favor of Carolina.

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans

Buffalo Bills (2-3) @ Houston Texans (2-3)

  • Time/Venue: 1:00 PM, NRG Stadium
  • Moneyline: N/A
  • Spread: N/A
  • Over/Under: N/A
  • Spread Consensus: N/A
  • Over/Under Consensus: N/A
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: N/A
  • Record Against the Spread: N/A

Pick – Texans

Lines for this one have yet to be released, but Houston will win this matchup. Buffalo’s offense is 2nd worse in the NFL averaging 253.8 yards per game. J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney will be in rookie QB Josh Allen’s face all day. Houston’s offense has showed plenty of explosiveness with multiple weapons. DeShaun Watson needs to work on his completion percentage, but he’ll be fine this week.

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

Los Angeles Rams (5-0) @ Denver Broncos (2-3)

  • Time/Venue: 4:05, Mile High Stadium
  • Moneyline: LAR -300, DEN +250
  • Spread: LAR -7 (+100), DEN +7 (-120)
  • Over/Under: O 52.5 (-105), U 52.5 (-115)
  • Spread Consensus: 55% LAR -7
  • Over/Under Consensus: 52% O 52.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: LAR 26.8 – DEN 21.2
  • Record Against the Spread: LAR (3-1-1), DEN (0-4-1)

Pick – Rams

The Rams are still looking superior, and they won’t backtrack this week. The Broncos defense just allowed Isaiah Crowell to run for 219 yards with a touchdown and 99 more yards to Bilal Powell on 20 attempts. Todd Gurley should have a big smile on his face as he’ll look to dominate once again.

Ezekiel Elliot

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

  • Time/Venue: 4:25 PM, AT&T Stadium
  • Moneyline: JAC -150, DAL +130
  • Spread: JAC -3 (+100), DAL +3 (-120)
  • Over/Under: O 40.5 (-110), U 40.5 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 57% JAC -3
  • Over/Under Consensus: 62% U 40.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: DAL 20.6 – JAC 20.4
  • Record Against the Spread: DAL (2-3), JAC (3-2)

Pick – Jaguars

This was a tough one to choose. Blake Bortles is looking like his old self again after he threw four picks in Kansas City last week. The Cowboys have been very inconsistent this season. Jacksonville’s defense is the key this week. They’re ranked first in the league while the Cowboys’ offense is ranked 28th.

Baltimore Ravens v Cleveland Browns

Baltimore Ravens (3-2) @ Tennessee Titans (3-2)

  • Time/Venue: 4:25 PM, Nissan Stadium
  • Moneyline: BAL -148, TEN +128
  • Spread: BAL -2.5 (-118), TEN +2.5 (-102)
  • Over/Under: O 41 (-111), U 41 (-109)
  • Spread Consensus: 51% TEN +2.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 62% U 41
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: BAL 21.7 – TEN 19.9
  • Record Against the Spread: BAL (3-2), TEN (3-2)

Pick – Ravens

Baltimore is coming off a tough overtime loss to Cleveland, but they’re still the better overall team this week. Tennessee was impressive two weeks ago when they beat the Eagles, but they put up just 12 points in a loss to Buffalo last week. The Titans inconsistency shows, and Baltimore will will expose their weaker abilities on Sunday.

Tyreek Hill

Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) @ New England Patriots (3-2)

  • Time/Venue: 8:20 PM, Gillette Stadium
  • Moneyline: NE -174, KC +154
  • Spread: NE -3.5 (-105), KC +3.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under: O 59 (-115), U 59 (-105)
  • Spread Consensus: 56% KC +3.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 61% O 59
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: NE 29.4 – KC 25.4
  • Record Against the Spread: NE (3-2), KC (5-0)

Pick – Chiefs

A set in stone rule in the football betting world is “Never go against the Pats at home.” However, it may not be a bad rule to break this week. Kansas City is finding ways to beat everyone that they play against, and the offense looks great. We could see a replay of their opening night matchup last season, where the Chiefs bet New England 42-27.

DaVante Adams

San Francisco 49ers (1-4) @ Green Bay Packers (2-2-1) (Monday Night)

  • Time/Venue: 8:15
  • Moneyline: GB -410, SF +340
  • Spread: GB -9.5 (-110), SF +9.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: O 46.5 (-110), U 45 (-110)
  • Spread Consensus: 64% GB -9.5
  • Over/Under Consensus: 71% O 46.5
  • Odds Shark Predicted Score: GB 27.2 – SF 18.6
  • Record Against the Spread: GB (2-3), SF (1-4)

Pick – Packers

This should be an easy win for Green Bay on their home field. The 49ers are too banged up to hang around with the Packers. They lost to the Cardinals last week and lost emerging star running back Matt Breida.

Bye: Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints
