Bears Acquire Khalil Mack from Oakland

Khalil Mack

The Chicago Bears have acquired linebacker Khalil Mack, a 2020 second-round pick, and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick from the Oakland Raiders in exchange for a 2019 first-round pick, 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick, and a 2019 sixth-round pick.

The deal is shocking for both sides, as it’s unfortunate the Raiders couldn’t afford Mack, and for the Bears to unload two first-round draft picks.

Mack, just 27-years-old, is a  2x All-Pro and the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Mack has started all 64 games of his 4-year career, and recorded 40.5 sacks, 231 tackles, and nine forced fumbles.

His rookie deal was a 4-year, $18,676,999 contract.
